Terms of Service
Effective June 17, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of Suggestra (“the service”), including our website, dashboard, embed widget, and APIs. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.
If you use Suggestra on behalf of a company or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and “you” refers to that organization.
1. The service
Suggestra lets account holders add websites, invite reviewers, and collect feedback pinned to live pages. Features vary by plan and may include screenshots, extended history, exports, and programmatic API access.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service at any time. We try to give reasonable notice for material changes that negatively affect paying customers.
2. Accounts
- You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and API keys.
- You are responsible for all activity under your account.
- You must be at least 16 years old to use the service.
- One person or organization may not share account credentials except as permitted by your plan.
Notify us promptly at privacy@suggestra.dev if you suspect unauthorized access.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for unlawful, harmful, or deceptive purposes
- Upload malware or attempt to disrupt or probe our systems
- Access data belonging to other accounts without authorization
- Expose secret API keys (
sk_…) in client-side code, public repositories, or other insecure locations - Circumvent plan limits, reviewer restrictions, or security measures
- Use the service to harass others or collect sensitive personal data without a lawful basis
- Reverse engineer the service except where prohibited restrictions do not apply by law
You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the embed widget on your websites complies with applicable law and that you have any notices or consents required for reviewers and site visitors.
4. Customer content
“Customer content” includes websites you configure, feedback threads, comments, screenshots, and other data you or your reviewers submit through the service.
- You retain ownership of your customer content.
- You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, display, and transmit customer content solely to provide and improve the service.
- You represent that you have the rights needed to submit customer content and to grant this license.
We may remove content or suspend access if we reasonably believe it violates these Terms or applicable law.
5. Plans, billing, and trials
Paid plans are billed through Stripe according to the pricing shown at checkout or on our pricing page. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges until you cancel.
- Trials — if offered, trial terms are shown at signup. When a trial ends, your subscription may convert to a paid plan unless you cancel.
- Cancellation — you may cancel from the dashboard. Cancellation stops future charges; access continues until the end of the current billing period unless otherwise stated.
- Refunds — fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law or explicitly stated.
- Taxes — prices may exclude applicable taxes, which you are responsible for where required.
6. Free plans and limits
Free and paid plans may include limits on websites, feedback volume, history retention, screenshots, API access, and other features. We may enforce limits automatically. Exceeding limits may require an upgrade or result in restricted functionality.
7. Embed widget and API keys
- Embed keys (
mk_…) are intended for use in public website markup. They identify a website and are restricted to approved domains. - Secret API keys (
sk_…) are for server-side use only and must be kept confidential. - You may rotate keys from the dashboard. You are responsible for updating integrations after rotation.
Documentation for the widget and Business API is available in our docs.
8. Privacy and data processing
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use personal information. It is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
If you process personal data through the service as a controller, our Data Processing Agreement also applies and is incorporated into these Terms.
9. Third-party services
The service integrates with third parties such as Stripe for payments. Your use of those services may be subject to their terms. We are not responsible for third-party websites or services you link to from your own sites.
10. Intellectual property
Suggestra, including its software, branding, and documentation, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our trademarks except as needed to use the service as intended.
11. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that feedback pins will remain perfectly anchored after changes to your website.
12. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NEITHER SUGGESTRA NOR ITS SUPPLIERS OR LICENSORS WILL BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS (USD $100).
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
13. Indemnification
You will defend and indemnify us against claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your customer content, your use of the service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
14. Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms, if required by law, or if necessary to protect the service or other users. Upon termination, your right to use the service ends, but sections that by their nature should survive will remain in effect.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in our principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in that jurisdiction will have exclusive venue for disputes, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country require otherwise.
16. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice by posting the updated Terms and updating the effective date, and we may notify account holders by email or through the dashboard. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.
